Melissa and Eric created the perfect day for them by having a micro wedding in the Lehigh Valley. They were inspired to create this day after looking at traditional wedding venues and not feeling excited about a big traditional day.
Instead they created a day that was perfect for them by mixing tradition with their own ideas and creating a simple 30 person event that fit them so much better.
Getting Ready at The Bethlehem Hotel
Melissa started her day at The Bethlehem Hotel getting ready with her wedding party and friends and family. We loved the sparkly details that truly fit Melissa's style and the short dress she chose for comfort and ease on her day. While Melissa was getting ready at the hotel Eric got ready at their home and was able to even include their dog Kevin in some of his getting ready photos. We loved that this part of the day was easy going and there was no stress or big rush to hurry up and wait.
First Look at Hotel Bethlehem
Melissa did a first look with her dad first inside the beautiful Hotel Bethlehem and then we took her outside to do her first look with Eric on the Hotel's property. They got to have a private minute just the two of them, and then Eric surprised Melissa with their dog Kevin for a couple of photos and his own little first look.
Hotel Bethlehem Wedding Party and Portraits
Before heading to the ceremony location the couple got photos around Hotel Bethlehem. There are both gorgeous indoor and outdoor locations to get photos done as well as photos with their wedding party. We even stopped at the bar for a quick drink since the couple often comes here to hang out and thought it would extra special to have a photo with their favorite bartender.
Ceremony at Three Oak Steakhouse
This micro wedding had a guest count of 30 which made the greenhouse at Three Oak Steakhouse the perfect fit. The couple got one hour of private access to the rooftop greenhouse for the ceremony, dances, and a toast, and then headed into the steakhouse private room for a special reception dinner.
The ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt, and ended with a toast by the bride and groom and their first dance. We loved how everyone was close and comfortable during the ceremony, and that due to the small guest count the couple got to spend quality time and get photos with every single guest!
Lehigh Valley Micro Wedding Nighttime Portraits
After finishing the ceremony, dances, and a quick toast the couple snuck off for some evening portraits in downtown Easton. We love that this gave them some time alone and also allowed them to adventure around their favorite area for meaningful photos from them.
Reception at Three Oak Steakhouse
This micro wedding wouldn't have been complete without a steakhouse dinner. The couple enjoyed a beautiful meal with their friends and family. Special toasts by their maid of honor and best man and a relaxing night exactly how they like it.
We loved that this wedding was such a perfect fit for the couple. That they customized their day to be stress-free and a more unique experience. We love that their wedding photos are a compilation of all of their favorite people and their personalities as well as all the places they love to go together.
